These they are the buoys that will feed to the petroleum ships that will arrive at United States.

If in a recent future the Nicaraguan Institute of Energy, INE, gives its aval so that initiate in the country a megaproyecto petroleum of Canadian origin, then will be a fact that under national soil they circulate, daily, some 480 thousand barrels of raw that will pass Nicaragua since Monkey Point, located in the Atlantic one, to Maroon, in the West of Nicaragua.

The route will be the same one of the call "Dry Canal" that promotes the consorcio Sit Global. And the alone idea to think about an oleoducto in ground and Nicaraguan sea already constitutes a news in Centroamérica entire.

To now, the business Oleoductos Premier of Nicaragua, that is the one that intends to invest here, only has developed this type of experiences in Canada, United States, Spain, Moroccan and Qatar.

In Nicaragua, if approve it, will signify an investment that patrols the 450 million dollars, according to its promotores. One of them it is the Nicaraguan one Juan Carlos Rivas, manager of the business Premier, who said yesterday that, in three most maximum weeks, they will fill the requisite remainders to complete "the package" that the government them asks for the start of operations.

SINCE MONKEY POINT TO MAROON

Following the idea of Rivas, the petroleum ships would pump the raw one in some buoys that would be located to some two miles of the Port of Monkey Point, in the full one caribe Nicaraguan and from there it they would pass first underwater way and then subterranean to the Port of Maroon, where of another buoy other ships would be fed that would carry that of black gold" to the sector oeste of the United States, EEUU.

"We are speaking of a pipe of 30 inches of diameter that goes to two miles inside the sea, where is the buoy, there the petroleum ships arrive, discharge and through a system of I pump is prompted to the other buoy. A great deal of petroleum would be used to pump that goes in tanqueros since Venezuela for to be distributed in the route oeste of EE.UU.", maintains Rivas.

Rivas enfatiza that by the moment will be two species of mangueritas or lines of 370 kilometers of long each one, the ones that will connect to both buoys. Through each line they will pass to the less 240 thousand barrels of petroleum, that is to say 480 thousand newspapers, while the supervision will be done by means of fiber óptica for what they have done contacts with the business ONE WORLD and prompt they will do it with ENITEL.

IN YEAR AND MEDIUM ESTARIAN PUMPING

In the same sense, the Canadians that have been to the so much of the project are the mister Gerald Leroux and Rick Wojcik, both engineers specialists in Oleoductos with more than 20 years of experience. Leroux yesterday with THE NEW NEWSPAPER explained that with the venia of the INE they would pump the petroleum in the country to more delay in year and medium, while the constructions would finish them in to the except a year.

"We consider that Nicaragua is a peaceful country and there is a responsible Army. We are tired of violence, of lack of security. In Nicaragua we believe that conditions they exist to develop the project", it affirms Leroux, while explained why did they elect this country to develop the project.

THE ADVANTAGES

So much Rivas as Leroux have said that among the advantages that will give the megaproyecto will be the great savings that will give in time and form to the large businessmen of the petroleum, what redundará in benefits for the final consumers.

"Nicaragua would be benefited in the sense that with the step of the petroleum by Nicaragua, the government would collect tax. And there are other advantages for the country, because would have itself to use the national construction businesses. There was also that to coach in the management of the bombs to engineers", adds Rivas.

The businessmen remember that also they maintained meetings with the ex German president when it was in the charge and now with the mandatory one Bolaños barely chosen. Both they promised them that they would lighten the things; but in the case of the previous government it went not thus.

Now what they expect is that the project itself not "sleep" in INE so that thus do not it occur of the Dry Canal, a business in which Rivas knows well, and the one that has not been able to develop for the lack of an own legal framework. "We do not want to fall in the burocracia, in Guatemala already go in serious with the project of the Dry Canal", notifies Rivas.

CAN COME BUT INVESTMENTS

An important detail to count is that the image of Nicaragua is being promoted to international level. Through the daily one Toronto Star various reports have been published where is informed that Nicaragua is a country of peace.

It seems that the Business Premier has had pláticas with large chains of Hotels as the Hilton, the one that supposedly has promised them that if the Canadians are installed here, they will also do it. The environmental study in the case of oleoducto already advances.
